Catherine “Cathy” A. Cosentino

Catherine “Cathy” A. Cosentino, age 60, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, May 2, 2020, and is now with her Lord and Savior. She was born June 30, 1959, in Tampa, Florida to the late Jack Shay and Doris Copper Sturts.

Cathy was always there for you if you needed her, offering her genuine caring spirit, advice, and love, along with her wonderful singing and her stuffed shells.  Her smile, her laughter, her love will be missed by her family and friends. Cathy, who loved the Lord deeply, also loved to sing, read, watch action movies, and spend time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Cathy is survived by her three sons, Abel (Michelle) Gorka of Galion, Tony (Nicole) Cosentino of Mooresville, North Carolina, Vince (Kendra) Cosentino of Lexington; her grandchildren, Sedona Gorka, Atlas Gorka, Enzo Cosentino, Carson Cosentino, Warren Cosentino, Colton Thompson, Zaylee Crisp, Kaitlyn Coffer, Allison Coffer; sisters Tammy (Joe) Bader of Mansfield, Midge (Jim) Taylor of Lewis Center and Jacki Oen of Delaware; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by a grandson, Caden Cosentino.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private family service will be observed. Memorial contributions can be made to Snyder Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
