Carrol E. Ryan, 82, of Galion passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Mill Creek Nursing Center, Galion.

She was born February 28, 1937 in Mansfield and was the daughter of the late Charles Raymond and Evelyn Corrine (Roether) Tingley. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald E. Ryan whom she married on April 12, 1958.

She was a 1955 graduate of Mansfield Madison High School and worked for seceral years as a secretary for Lumbermens Mutual Insurance. Carrol was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Galion for over 50 years and made over 700 gift baskets for the church to help raise funds. In addition, she had also made gift baskets for Ontario Elementary School. Carrol enjoyed playing cards with several card clubs in the area.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by son Zane Ryan of Galion; daughter Cheree Ryan of Galion; grandson Aaron Ryan of Galion and a brother Darl (Judy) Tingley of Fredericktown.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25 with Rev. Ash Welch officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
