LEXINGTON: Carrie Lynn Klug-Ackerman passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at OhioHealth Mansfield. She was 42.

She was born November 7, 1977 to parents Richard & Ann Marie (Darcy) Klug in Madison, Wisconsin. Carrie’s family moved to Michigan in 1981 when she was 4 yrs. old. Carrie graduated from Walled Lake Central High School in 1995. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan in 2010.

Although their paths overlapped many times, it wasn’t until finding each other on MySpace that she met her future husband. On April 26, 2008, she married Allan Ackerman.

Carrie worked for Option Care Enterprises as a Reimbursement Specialist. In her spare time, she took pleasure in cuddle time with her twins, playing games, shopping, and cooking.

She is survived by husband Allan Ackerman; twin 9 year old Maximus and Madison; parents Richard and Ann Marie Klug; siblings Shane Klug, Amy (Chris) Klug-Beale, and Breann Klug.

Carrie’s family will be having a private service on Tuesday, April 21st. but they hope that you will remember her in your own specific way. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Snyder Funeral Home to assist the family (Please send checks to PO Box 3085 Mansfield, Ohio 44904).

I’ve photographed them numerous times over the years until they moved to Ohio, and I’ve always stayed in touch with Carrie over social media. Allan, my heart goes out to you and the twins. I can not believe how unfair life can be. I wish you nothing but peace and comfort during this tragic time.
