Carrie E. Wolfe Dupler Crocker, 89, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died on Wednesday afternoon, April 12, 2006, at the Morrow Manor Nursing Center in Chesterville.

She was born in Lent Hollar, Ohio in Hocking County on March 31, 1917, daughter of the late Josiah and Flossie (Reed) Wolfe. Carrie worked for Curtis Wright during WWII and then as a packer and inspector for General Motors in Columbus until retiring.

Carrie enjoyed sewing and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by a son Richard (Brenda) Dupler of Cardington, Ohio; two grandchildren Richard and Lauren H. Hanes; four great-grandchildren Krista, Heather, and Holly Dupler and Zachary Phillips; and a sister Katie Pyle of Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband George Dupler, second husband Robert Crocker, her daughter Betty E. Harper, four brothers; Jim, Everett, Ben, and Bobby, and three sisters; Nellie, Myrtle, and Susan.

At Mrs. Crocker’s request services will not be observed and burial will take place in Sunset Cemetery near West Jefferson, Ohio.

Arrangements are in care of the Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Gilead.
