Carol Jewel Williams, 72, of Delaware passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital of Union County. She was born December 17, 1938 in Berwind, WV to John and Pauline (Wallace) Isom. Carol retired from Dublin City School after working 25 years as a bus driver. She was a member of the Scioto Valley Christian Union Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Euchre Club. Carol also was a Cub Scout Troop Leader and a Camp Fire Girls Troop Leader. She had a great love for children, cooking, baking, and gardening. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Cathy (Dale) Clark of Waldo; Linda Kay (Tom) Fraley of Ashley; and Norma Jean Baker-Williams of Westerville; a son, Michael (Shelley) Williams of Sunbury; 9 grandchildren; a brother, Jim Isom of Florida, 2 sisters Susie Isom and Phyllis Reed both of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Laron Williams, and a sister, Cynthia Hale. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2nd from 5-7pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11am at the Scioto Valley Christian Union Church (5447 Riverside Dr. Delaware, OH, 43015) with burial to follow in Oller Cemetery.
