Carol Colopy, 81, of Fredericktown passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.  She was born July 31, 1934 in Coshocton to the late Clyde and Mary (Maxwell) Lecraft.

Carol was a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and had worked for the Glass Garden in Mount Vernon.  She enjoyed shopping, gardening and bird watching, but her greatest passion was spending time with her family.

Carol is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Kathy (Gary) Braddock of Fredericktown, Jeff Colopy of Mount Vernon, Delores (Leon) Johnson of Fredericktown and Joyce (Donald) Crosby of Columbus; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Wilson of Columbus.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a son, Chris Colopy; and sisters, Garnet Deeds and Helen Howard.

The family will have a graveside service at Noon on Friday, April 1, 2016 in Saint Luke Cemetery, Danville with Deacon Tim Birie presiding.
