June 30, 1944 ‒ January 17, 2011
Carol Ann Garrison Wodolan, 66, of Mansfield, died Monday, January 17, 2011 in Mansfield MedCentral Hospital following a long illness.
She was born June 30, 1944 in Mansfield, and is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Donald Wodolan, her daughter Sandra and Tim Gleason of Butler; sister Thelma (Cookie) and David Laug of Mansfield; brother Jim and Sue Garrison of Mansfield, and many nieces and nephews.
Carol attended Madison High School and graduated in 1962. After marrying Don on September 6,1964, they moved to Virginia where they started a family and Carol began her lifelong love of the ocean and lighthouses. Carol was an extremely talented artist. Many of her pen and ink renderings will continue to bring happiness to friends and family for years to come. In addition, she had a particular fondness for gardening, sewing, decorating, “junking” for great deals at local flea markets, antique stores, and garage sales and her beloved pets. She used her talents to not only create beautiful things for her home, but also shared her gifts and talents with those she loved.
Carol was preceded in death by her older brother Frankie Garrison, a sister Nora Garrison, an infant son Christopher Wodolan, and her parents Nina and James Garrison.
