My heart breaks at the thought of losing my dear friend. I can not imagine the pain you are feeling right now. Carmie could light up a room even before she arrived. We shared laughs, tears, jokes and a few beers together through out the years. I have a feeling she is having a beer with her dad and Gene right now. My only hope is that you all realize how much joy and love she bestowed upon so many people and that a piece of her will always be in so many hearts she left behind. ‘Those we love will never be apart. In our hearts they live forever.’ Please take care of each other during this trying time. I am sending many prayers your way…

She is forever etched on my heart. She loved all of you with a great love, and wished for Jake the moon and stars. Nothing made her happier than you and her beautiful granddaughter. • I attended NCTC with Carmen and she made the rough days brighter. We could always count on her to add some humor to the class. Jake was just a little guy back then – she brought him to class one day and told the instructor he was our class mascot! So sorry for your loss Jake!
