Carl Vernon Justice, 67, of Delaware died Tuesday evening at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born March 10, 1940 in Ostrander to Jesse Justice and Oma Belle (Skeens) Justice. He retired from Ohio Wesleyan University after 25 years and had served in the National Guard Army Reserve, Delaware. He was a member of the Antique Farm Machinery Association of Delaware County, VFW Post #3297 of Delaware, and a life member of the AmVets Post #102 of Delaware. He enjoyed antique farm equipment and old cars. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Esther (Coakley); son, Thomas (Lori) Justice of Ostrander; 2 daughters, Carla (David) Wood of Delaware and Marilyn (Ron) Stephens of Kilbourne; 2 brothers, Harrison (Mary) Justice of Delaware and Robert (Mary) Justice of Kilbourne; 3 sisters, Gladys (Robert) Dever, Linda Justice, and Ruth (James) Hughes, all of Delaware; foster son, Chaminda (Kathy) Wijesinghe of Galena; 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 foster grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 great grandsons.The family will receive friends on Saturday November 17th from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, Delaware. A Service of Remembrance will follow at 10:30 am with Pastor Bill Benner officiating. The family will then host a luncheon in the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home Community Room immediately following the service. Burial will be at a later date at Bokes Creek Cemetery.
