Camella B. Haymond, 93, formerly of 218 Second Avenue, Galion, died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at Village Care Center, Galion, after a brief illness.

Born August 3, 1911 in Buckhannon, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Everett Hibbs and Grace Hiner Hibbs. She was preceded in death on September 26, 1995 by her husband, Gerald P. Haymond whom she married on December 27, 1930.

She loved working in her large garden and enjoyed her friends and neighbors.
She retired from Quanex Steel Tube in Shelby in 1976 after 29 years where she was a machine operator.

Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Diane Haymond of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Jill Combs of Minn., Joy Leemaster and Jan Stake of Columbus, Debbie Anderson and Billy Joe Haymond of Wash. and Cindi Reed of North Robinson; a number of great and great-great grandchildren and a sister Goldie Gooden of W. Va..

She was preceded in death by two sons, William J. and Everett Haymond; two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2004 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, November 5, with Rev. Ernie Joe Hall officiating. Interment will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
