Mansfield: C. Yvonne Traxler, age 85, of Miamisburg and formerly of Mansfield passed away Sunday morning, November 29, 2020 in Elmcroft of Washington Township.

She was born September 10, 1935 in Vincent, Ohio, to Lester and C. Emily (Linton) Welch.  Yvonne graduated from Wellington High School in 1953 and attended airline school.  She worked for Capital Airline and for a couple of local loan companies including Richland Finance and Western Reserve.  She spent 26 years working for Anesthesia Associates in the business office, retiring in 2000.

She was a long time member of First Congregational Church in Lexington where she served as a trustee and enjoyed the Women’s Fellowship group.  She also attended Little Washington Congregational Church.

Yvonne took ballroom dance lessons at Arthur Murray Studios and played golf for many years at O’Possom Run and Pebble Creek leagues.  More recently she enjoyed puzzles, crochet, reading, and loved doting on her great grandchildren.

Surviving are her two sons Edward and (Sandra) Traxler of Payson, AZ, and Tobin and (Janice) Traxler of Dayton; grandchildren Donald (Nikki) Traxler of Bellville, Tobin T.  Traxler of Washington, DC, and Adriann (Andrew) Gribben of Lucas; four great grandchildren Madalynn and Wade Traxler and Riley and Grace Gribben; sibling Patricia (Jerry) Szabo of CO, a sister-in-law Bonnie Welch of Lakeville, and nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twin babies Dean and Don Traxler, a baby girl Lois Lynn Traxler and a two brothers Richard Welch and David Welch.

Due to the Covid 19 virus, a private graveside service will be held in Bellville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice.

    What a special lady! Attended , The First Congregational Church with her. She always greeted everyone with a smile. If you needed something done all you had to do was ask. Ice Cream Social, Halloween Parade, Ladies Fellowship, Church Council, she did it all.
