Bruce Eugene Bailey

Bruce Eugene Bailey, 59, of Delaware passed away Sunday afternoon February 28, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

He was born September 3, 1956 in rural Centerburg, Ohio to Marvin and Gwendolyn (Walker) Bailey. He graduated from Delaware Hayes High School in 1974 and served his country as a member of the United States Navy for 6 years. He drove taxi in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area for several years before coming back to Ohio and driving cab for the Dublin Taxi Service.

Left to cherish his memory is his father Marvin Bailey of Delaware; two brothers Keith (Jody Alders) Bailey of Gahanna and Rev. Steve (Marcie) Bailey of Independence; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2014.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned for a later date and will be announced here upon completion.

The Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center of Delaware is honored to serve this veteran and his family.

    I am so sorry for the sorrow you are experiencing at this time in your life. Know that he is back in Heaven with his mother Gwen who was a wonderful kind lady. I truly hope you can find peace for the loss of Bruce who was so young.
