Bruce “Deuce” Damron

Bruce “Deuce” Damron, age 57 of Sunbury went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the OSU Medical Center East.

He was born on June 23, 1950 in Paintsville, Kentucky. A US Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he owned and operated Damron Flooring.

With a strong work ethic, he would do anything to help, generous with both his time and labor. Most proud of his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he treasured spending time with.

Survived by his wife of almost 30 years Sandy (Kirby), children Mary (Joseph) Office, Gregory and Benjamin Damron, grandchildren Makayla and Jordan Office all of Sunbury, father Floyd Damron of Pickerington, sister Marlene Romans of Grove City, niece Christi Romans, Great-nephew Jacob.

Preceded in death by his mother Dulcie J. (Starr) Damron.

Graveside services will be held Thursday 11:30 a.m. at Newhouse Cemetery near Ostrander, with Pastor Wayne Booth officiating. Calling hours will not be observed, arrangements entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury.
