Bruce Albert Boda, age 50, of Delaware, passed away suddenly Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Born on February 22, 1962 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Robert M. Boda and Margaret L. (Moskosky) Boda, he was employed by The Ohio State University as a Senior Systems Analyst.

Bruce enjoyed playing pool, fishing, cars and grilling out. He was active with the Boy Scouts while his son earned Eagle Scout. Described as helpful and an awesome uncle, Bruce was a true family man who’s number one priority was spending time with his children, nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Helen (Johnson) Boda of Delaware; son Nathaniel W. Boda; daughter, Mary-Margaret J. Boda all of Delaware; mother, Margaret Boda, formerly of Youngstown, who made her home with Bruce; brothers, Robert (Sheryl) Boda of Austintown, OH; Michael (Carol) Boda of Canfield, OH; Russell (Mary Teresa) Boda of Sunbury, OH, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm Sunday at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, Ohio. Graveside services will be held Monday 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Youngstown, OH. Condolences may be expressed at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com.
