Brenda Jean Nolan, 69, of Mount Vernon passed away on Sunday afternoon, October 18, 2020 at the Laurels of Mount Vernon.  She was born on February 9, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Malachi and Dorla (Cantwell) Nolan

Brenda was a bookkeeper of the Board of Education in Perth-Amboy, NJ for many years and retired as such.  She was a member of the Crossway Fellowship Church.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Jean and her husband, Tony Rosario of Ladson, SC and Nubia Bosques of Woodbridge, NJ;  grandchildren, Destiny, Donald, Arielle, Montanah, Adriana and AJ; brother, Michael Nolan of Utica; sister, Pamela Walker of Vermillon; and she was loved by so many more.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, David and Roberta Nolan.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Mitruskas Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords, New Jersey 08863.
