Brenda and Charles “Chuck” Crum

Brenda D. and Charles G. “Chuck” Crum of Centerburg died unexpectedly, Thursday evening, September 21, 2017 at their home.
She was born on September 15, 1954 in Dublin, Ohio the daughter of the late Kenneth S. and Donnabelle (Reed) Scott.
He was born on May 30, 1952 in Williamson, West Virginia the son of the late John and Lottie (Justice) Crum.
Brenda loved quilting and playing Euchre, but most important was her time volunteering at the AmVets and her grandchildren.
Chuck owned and operated C & J Construction for nearly 40 until his retirement. He was always outside doing something, building something, or tinkering with his old tractor. He also loved cooking with the grandkids.
Brenda and Charles are survived by their son Brian Joshua Crum and his fiancé Brande Neibarger of Columbus; grandchildren Lane, Kaylie Jo, Anthony Curry, Aurora, and Draven Crum, and Elizabeth Harvey; and close friends Claudia and Jim Simcoe.
Brenda is also survived by her sister Karen Scott-Rodriguez of Dublin; and brother Kevin Scott and his wife Debbie Morrison of Powell.
Chuck is also survived by his siblings Roger Justice of Indiana and Bonnie Kelly and her husband Mike of Centerburg.
Friends may call on the family on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Centerburg Church of Christ, 3830 Columbus Road, Centerburg, Ohio 43011. Funeral services will be held there on Friday at 11 AM. Burial to follow in Eastview Cemetery there in Centerburg. The church will provide a meal following the committal service.
