Brady Eugene McManis age 83 passed away Friday July 3, 2009 at Bennington Glen Nursing Home in Marengo Ohio at 10:57 am surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Florance McManis, Daughter Gloria Sexton, Grandson Clinton Farley Brothers Henry and Bill McManis, and Sister in-law Cleo Baker. He is Survived by Wife Delores McManis, Daughter Eugenia (Roach) McManis, Son Scott McManis, Grandchildren Shawn and Jason Farley, Angela Castle, Stephany Roach, Stacy Pajot (Roach) and Christina Jones (Roach), Great Grandchildren: Gwendolyn Roach, Colten Pajot, Craig, Christopher and Courtney Castle, Macy, Heather and Gracie Gloria Farley, nephews, neices, cousins and friends. He was born March 25, 1926 in Welston Ohio and raised by his Grandmother Sara Jane McManis, served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War in 1952, retired 30 years Columbus Coated Frabrics. My Father met my Mother the love of his life in Jackson Ohio at a Movie Theatre bending over to get a drink of water from the fountain, he fell in love at the sound of her voice sight unseen, he had to follow her and her two sisters to find which siren had that voice of angels. My Father was the greatest father he was very loved and will leave a hole in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2009 at the Snyder Funeral Home, 76 South Main Street, Mount Gilead at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Wilson officiating. Burial with full military honors, conducted by the V.F.W. Post #8054 and AmVets Post #89, will take place in Shauck Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
