Brady E. Clements, age 64, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at home with his family at his side.  He was born on August 16, 1956, in Mount Vernon, Ohio the son of Carroll and Mildred (Brady) Clements.  Brady proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1975 to 1978.

He loved traveling with his family.  His passion was fishing and traveling throughout Ohio’s great lakes trying to find the perfect fishing spot.  He would always tell the family to “Relax and fish.”  Brady was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers and loved game days with his son.  Most of all he loved his family and was always there for them, whatever their need may be.

Brady is survived by the love of his life for 34 years Teresa (Finch) Clements.  He was the best dad ever to Cindy and Chad.  He is also survived by his mother, two sisters, Toni (Morgan) Cline, Carla (Mike) Emmons-Wil, his loving granddaughters that affectionately called him Papa, Lydia and Abby, nieces, Angie Wild, Amber (Cody) Douglas and Darrien Kinsman.

Besides his father he was preceded in death by his daughter Cindy on March 11, 2021, and a niece Candy Emmons.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m. in Ebenezer Cemetery.  The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Brady E. Clements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any children’s charity to give a child hope, Hospice of Knox County or Food for the Hungry.
