Bonnie S. Blackford, age 64, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Country view of Sunbury.  She was born on October 6, 1956 in Mount Vernon, Ohio the daughter of William and Barbara (Adams) Blackford.  Bonnie was a 1974 graduate of Fredericktown High School.  She worked 30 years for the Mount Vernon Developmental Center and was also employed by the Fredericktown Library.

Bonnie is survived by her brother, Benjamin (Susan) Blackford of Fredericktown; nieces, Amanda (Tim) Hull and Bethany (Matt) Davis; her three feline companions, Macy, Mattie and Marney.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will observe a private service.  The Snyder Funeral Home of Fredericktown is honored to serve the family of Bonnie S. Blackford.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Knox County Humane Society.

    Despite the passing of years had immediate flashbacks to us growing up together and time I spent with you guys back at old stomping grounds of Taylor street and the schools etc……..
