  • You were like a second dad to me when I was growing up. I will miss your smiling face and I will always remember you in my heart. You and your whole family knew when I was upset and you always would help me through my problems and issues especially with my stepfather Richard Willis. If it wasn’t for you and your whole family I don’t know where or what I would be doing in my life. RIP Bishop your love will always be with me know matter what goes wrong in my life. Love Kandy.

  • What a privilege and an honor to have known the Bishop. Truly a man after God’s own heart. Whenever he would talk about the Lord, he would begin to weep. His love for the Lord and people was the real deal.
An example of a follower of Christ who ran his race through into the arena of glory, to hear “well done good and faithful servant, enter into your rest”
Prayers and blessings to Linda and all the family as they celebrate his life
    With love and prayers,

  • What a joy to know and to share my life with The VanBuren clan. Marvin is my teacher, My Pastor, My friend and My spiritual Father. Whenever I want up for prayer he would hug me, like a Father hugging his son. When he told me be in season and out of season. That I needed to get every song that T.O.P. ever sang into the computer. So when our songleader, Brenda Jordon went off the songlist. I had the songs at my fingertips since I ran the media back then, to the songs on the screen. My condolences goes out to Linda and her family. May God wrap You in His love and have words of encouragement for your hearts.
