Billy “Bill” Buxton, 68, of Galion, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at home with his family at his bedside.

Bill was born May 14, 1950 in Lodi, Ohio and was the son of the late Harold and Margaret (Haught) Buxton. Billy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cynthia A. (Holwager) Buxton, whom he married on June 28, 1969.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Tammy (Rod) Thomas of Crestline, Angela Buxton (companion Michael Gross) of Bucyrus and Harold Buxton of Galion and four grandchildren Terry Buxton of Colorado, Reece Thomas of Crestline and Amber and Tyler Buxton of Bucyrus.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Clifford Buxton and father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Eunice Ronk.

Following his wishes, no calling hours or services will be observed.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff of Mid-Ohio Hospice, especially Nancy in caring for Billy. The family also wishes to thank the staff of the Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes in Galion.
