Billie Jean Chaney, age 84 of Delaware passed away Wednesday morning February 10, 2016 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus of Delaware.

She was born in 1931 in Kenton, Ohio to Ralph and Norma Barry. She is survived by her husband Elvin “Bob” Chaney and children David (Janet) Tillman, Peggy Jackson, Don Chaney, Connie (Nick) Seymour, Mary (George) Reiss, and grandchildren.

A special thanks to Kindred Home Hospice of Marion and Delaware Country Club Nursing Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center.

  • We come to the Country Club Rehabilitation Center on Monday evenings to sing with the residents there. Billie always joined us, and quickly became one of our favorites. We will miss seeing her. Our sympathies to all of her family.
