MANSFIELD: Described as generous, Boots Mabry was blessed with a giving heart. Content, all she needed was to be at home with her loving family by her side.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, surrounded by her family, Beulah “Boots” Mabry passed away, at home following an extended illness. She was 78.

The daughter of Arthur and Jennievee (Baird) Parish, Boots was born in Michigan on May 4, 1935. As a young girl she moved to Mansfield.

On May 19, 1951 Boots married Sidney Mabry. Over the years, Boots worked for Dominion Electric, Hi-Stat, and Therm-O-Disc.

She enjoyed crocheting afghans for family and friends. Tender hearted, Boots loved animals. She will be remembered as a supportive mother and grandmother who expressed unconditional love to her family.

Boots is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Kathy & Dan Seitz of Mansfield; daughter-in-law Celeste; grandchildren Julie & Jim Eagle, Cherie & Kevin Larner, Caleb and Kaity Mabry and Celeiss Mabry; great grandchildren Bethany, Abigail and Maggie Eagle; special friends Jim and Helga Odson, along with numerous extended family.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death her husband Sidney Mabry and son Charles Mabry.

The Mabry Family will receive friends this evening Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor Andy Hupp will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to MedCentral Hospice may be made through the funeral home.
