Bettie Louise Robbins, age 92 of Lexington, was called home peacefully Sunday September 24, 2017 at Med-Central Hospital.
She was born October 26, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Alvin and Almeda (Shade) Lower. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Lester Robbins, granddaughter LaDonna Robbins, sister Edith McCrary, and brothers Richard, Jack and Earl Lower.

Dedicated and gentle in nature she will be remembered for her generous ways and taking care of her family.
During the final 7 years of her life her daily delight was watching Wheel of Fortune with her loving daughter Vikki and son-in-law Steven Lutz, who provided the comfort and care that allowed Bettie to enjoy the final years of her life in a strong family centered environment, rather than in assisted living.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 12:00 pm -1:30 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 West William Street) Delaware, Ohio, where a Private service will follow. Burial will take place at Fairview Memorial Park. This obituary was prepared and authored by Larry W. Robbins.
