Betty Lee Wolfinger, age 86, of Marion, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Presidential Care Center. Betty Lee was born on August 10, 1927 to the late Joseph “Joe” and Anna (Shonkwiler) Moore in Washington Court House. On September 25, 1954, Betty married J William “Bill” Wolfinger, who survives.

Betty Lee attended the Marion Business College and later retired from Central Soya, after 17 years of service, as an account and clerical specialist in the grain department. Betty Lee always put the needs of others first, she was devoted to her family and has been a wonderful caregiver to her husband for the past 5 years. Betty Lee was a member of The Peace Community Church, Marion Genealogy Society, Marion Senior Center, and The Moose Lodge 889.

In addition to her husband, Betty Lee is survived by children, Jay William (Joni) Wolfinger, Kevin Lee Wolfinger, and Paula Jean (Frank) Ferrin all of Marion; grandchildren, Trista (Matt) Crock and Tyler Ferrin; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty Lee is preceded in death by brother, Herb Moore and sister, Glena Gale.

Friends may call from 4 to 7PM on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at the Peace Community Church, 4061 Columbus-Sandusky Rd S, Marion, OH 43302, on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10AM with Pastor Joel Fetter officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty Lee’s honor to The Peace Community Church or Heartland Hospice.
