Betty L. Stewart, age 67, of Galion died Monday, March 2, 2015 at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Born June 10, 1947 in Cabin Creek, W.V., she was the daughter of Ursel White. She married Bert Stewart on December 24, 1965 and he survives.

She was a graduate of East Bank High School in East Bank W.V. Betty retired from United Church Directories in Galion after a 14 year career. She enjoyed camping, cooking and spending time with family and on Facebook. She especially loved her dogs Susie and Billy Ray.

In addition to her husband she is survived by children Stephani O’Neal, Tony (Vicki) Stewart, Matthew (Michale) Stewart, Nicole (Jason) Frye and Jennay (Ethan) Stewart, all of Galion; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two granddaughters-in-law; sisters Mary (Jim) Peters of Beckley, W.V. and Jewell Kirk of Charleston, W.V.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a grandson; two great grandchildren and her Aunt Ruth White, who raised her.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 12:00 Noon, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Snyder Funeral Home Richardson Davis Chapel, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday with Pastor Mark Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.

I have never had to experienced the loss of a Sibling but the loss of a loved one is one of the most tragic and devastating things a person could endure.   • Today by sister Becky will be put to rest. I just want the Stewart family and all her friends to remember what a great sister, wife, mother ,great mother, and great grand mother she was. Becky show a lot of love to everyone she knew, and always had a beautiful smile. All the great memories of her will be everlasting to me and my sister Jewell. We all had so much pain as kids growing up. The last 20 years of her life and the talks and time together is something I will never forget. So rest in peace my dear sister, you will always be in my heart I know I will be missing you, but I know just saying I love you and you saying it back is what I will be thinking of the rest of my life. Love You.
