Betty Kathryn Saylor

Betty Kathryn Saylor, 84, of Galion, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 at Olentangy Woods Nursing Center in Galion, after an extended illness.
Born May 1, 1927 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Sarah Gill Campo. She married Henry H. Saylor on Sept. 28, 1969 and he survives and she was previously married to Gerald I. Wirick who preceded her on Dec. 30, 1968.
She attended Galion High School, enjoyed card games and music.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Merrlin Kitzmiller of Galion; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Jeni Wirick of North Robinson; step children and spouses, Hayes and Jinny Saylor of Grove City, Walt Saylor and Dottie Williamson of Marion, Sue Bartley of Columbus, Linda and Jon Carpenter of Columbus and Anna and James Rogers of Kaymay, Texas; 21 grandchildren including Earl Saylor and Henry Saylor that she and her husband raised; many great- grandchildren; two sisters, Sylvia Sorrick of Galion and Lucille Efaw of Galion, two brothers and four sisters-in-law: Robert and Jean Campo of Brownsville, Texas, Cruse and Ann Campo of Galion, Janice Campo of Swanton and Brenda Campo of Fredericktown and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Wirick, one stepson, Earl Saylor, three brothers, Paul, Marshall and Joe Campo, two sisters, Pauline Wise and Marie Franco and one son-in-law, Clyde Bartley.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Jed Brake, Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
