Betty June Creagh, age 93 of Marion, Ohio died peacefully with her family by her bedside on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Genesis Presidential Center after a brief illness. Betty was born on September 17, 1924 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Harold Hubert Hedges, Sr. and Lucille Dorothy (Huffman) Hedges.

Betty was a long time bus driver with the Marion City Schools. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.

Betty Creagh is survived by her daughters, Natalie Sue (Richard) Clement-Bey, Kimberly Jo (Richard) Young, Lori Jean (Curtis) Benton, and Lisa Ann Creagh. She has one surviving son, Ralph Eugene (Yetty) Converse. She also has a step-son, James (Jimmy) (Karen) Creagh. Betty has 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren. Betty is also survived by 3 sisters, Francis (Dallas) Wingo, Rosa (Ellwood) Berry and Hazel Walters; and 3 brothers Charles Pollack, John Pollack and George Pollack.

Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Dorothy June Converse and son Samuel Lee Converse; three sisters, Beatrice Roosa, Naomi Hedges, and Ruby Weber, and a brother, Harold Hedges.

Betty’s services will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at King’s Temple Apostolic Church located at 267 Senate Street, Marion, Ohio. Calling Hours will be from 10:00 am – 12:00pm with home going service immediately following. Interment will be at the Marion Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Betty Creagh. Condolences and flowers should be sent to King’s Temple Apostolic church.
