Beth Ann Williams, age 75, of Sunbury died Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Countryview of Sunbury.

A lifelong Sunbury resident, she was born on October 1, 1942 the daughter of the late Troy E. Williams and Helen A. (Saunders) Hunter.

Beth was a 1960 graduate of Big Walnut High School and worked as a collections agent for the Better Business Bureau in Columbus and in the credit bureau for Limited Brands and Timken.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Centerburg, but more recently she attended Sunbury United Methodist Church.

Beth participated in 4-H and was a member of the East Liberty Grange.

She was a collector of knick-knacks and dolls and was the happiest around her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-mother Dorothy (Jacobus) Williams, her step-father Leslie “Slim” Hunter, and her brother Richard L. Williams.

Funeral services will not be held.

  • Beth was a classmate of mine at a Big Walnut High School. I remember her fondly as always having a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. Being the new kid in town, she welcomed me openly as a friend. Beth made a difference in my life. My sympathies go out to all her family and friends.
