Bennie Lynn Fraley, 60, of Marion died Friday morning at the Marion General Hospital. He was born March 7, 1947 in Plain City, Ohio to Clarence E. Fraley Sr. and Thelma Christine (Clark) Fraley. He was a locksmith for the State of Ohio for 24 years and was currently working at the Marion County Juvenile Correctional Facility. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran who enjoyed fishing and woodworking and was an avid Nascar fan of Jimmie Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Ronda (Baugus); daughter, Charlene (Chris) Mobech of Reynoldsburg; 2 sons, Scott L. (Kelley) Nichols of Delaware and Harold “Mike” (Lea) Nichols of Ostrander; stepson, David L. Butler of Columbus; 2 stepdaughters, Wendy (Scott) Uhlenhake of Anna and Traci J. Butler of Westerville; 7 grandchildren, Nathan, Corbin, Mason, and Randa Nichols, Gerret Moss, Cody Butler, and Kaia Uhlenhake; brother, Clarence (Peggy) Fraley of Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends on Sunday July 1st from 2 –4 and 6 – 8 pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 307 E. High St., Ashley and where funeral services will be held on Monday July 2nd at 11:00 am with Pastor Marty Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in Marlboro Cemetery with the Delaware County Veterans Association providing military honors at graveside.
