  • Ben was a great man. Not one for many words, but truly a patient person with a great demeanor. To Kelly and Doug, I hope and pray that you stay strong during this time. I couldn’t imagine how you must feel. If you ever need anything, you know how to get a hold of me.

One thing we can all be thankful for is that he’s no longer hurting and I pray that he’s resting alongside with Mary.

  • Even though I knew Ben very little I thought of him often and could feel his grief. I am glad he is no longer grieving but I wish his family and loved ones peace and comfort. I regret not visiting Ben more often when he was sitting on the porch. I keep thinking of Willie Nelsons song, “He stopped loving her today”. The little I knew about Ben made me realize that what I knew of him was big in character. Prayers to the family in this difficult times!
