Beatrice S. “Snook” Schade, 78, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Mill Creek Nursing Center in Galion.

She was born August 18, 1940 in Kentucky and was the daughter of Clifford and Edith (Tripplett) Justice. Beatrice is survived by her husband of 46 years, John M. “Mickey” Schade, whom she married on August 27, 1972.

She was a homemaker, but had worked in foodservice, owning her own restaurant and working as a waitress. Beatrice was a member of Sar Shalom Messianic Congregation in Mansfield. She enjoyed reading the Bible, especially the Old Testament and cooking for her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter Kimberley Boyd of Mansfield; sons Sean (Julia) Schade of Cedar Park, Texas and Josh (Heather) Schade of Mansfield; eight grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Alveta (Joe) Riffe of Mansfield and Anita Luscaleet of Galion and brothers Bud (Jane) Justice of Athens, Tennessee and Jim (Sherry) Justice of Galion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Perkins and a brother, Roger Justice.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Sar Shalom Messianic Congregation, 2510 West Fourth Street Mansfield, Ohio 44906 with Rabbi William Hollbrook officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
