Barbara Gail Linger

LEXINGTON: Barbara Gail (Beamer) Linger, 68, of Lexington passed away peacefully at home following a long illness, with her loving husband and daughter by her side.

Barbara was born August 17, 1949 in Butler, Ohio to Lewis and Maxine (Bowden) Beamer.  Barbara’s brother, Steven Beamer was her best friend.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Barbara completed her education earning her GED and attended further schooling to get the certifications and degrees needed to be a very successful and respected FHA/HUD Housing Manager.  She managed Fox Hollow Apts. Inc for over 25 years.

She is survived by her husband Gregg Linger; two daughters Teresa Linger (Devon Johnson) of Johnsville, and Rachel Linger of Shelby; brother Steven Beamer of Mansfield; four grandchildren Chantell Linger and Timothy Oakes, Courtney Linger Tate (Rob Tate) and Kurtis Linger; four great grandchildren Elizabeth Tate, Ahleeyah Miller, Lillyanah Linger and Emmet Oakes.

Special thanks and gratitude are given to the family caretakers, her husband Gregg, daughter Teresa, and her brother Steven.  Thank you to the care and support given by the aides and nurses from Mid Ohio Health Hospice and Home Care Services.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 12 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where her family will receive friends the hour prior.  Celebrant Jerry Wilson will officiate and burial will follow in Caesarea Cemetery.
