Audrey Jeanne McLaughin, age 92, of Piermont, NH, formerly of Marengo, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 25, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Piermont, NH.  She was born February 8, 1926, in Massillon, Ohio, to the late Ivor Pritchard and Estella (Harris) Pritchard.

She graduated from South High School in Columbus, Ohio.  During WWII she worked for the Columbus telegraph office, receiving notifications of the dead and MIA American soldiers.  At this time, she met a Navy man, the love of her life, Robert Lee McLaughlin, and married him on June 16, 1946.  Audrey lived in Columbus before moving to Marengo for 42 years.

She was a Christian lady of profound faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  She loved her Lord, her family, and her friends. A smile was always on her face, to stranger and friend.  Well done, good and faithful servant!  She is now with the Lord and also her husband Robert (66 years on earth together) forever.

Audrey is survived by son, Mark (Cathy) McLaughlin of Westerville, OH, OSU graduate; daughter, Janet (David) Reinhardt of Piermont, NH, BJU graduate; daughter-in-law, Carol McLaughlin Kidman of Toledo, OH, Flower Hospital School of Nursing graduate; 9 grandchildren: Matthew (Jen Schneider) McLaughlin of Centerburg, OH, Phoenix U graduate; Michael McLaughlin of Mt. Gilead, OH; Nathan (Brandy) McLaughlin of Centerburg, OH; Adam (Kathleen Radcliffe, fiancé) McLaughlin of Westerville, OH, DeVry graduate; Kara (Daniel) Jones of Hillard, OH, Franklin Univ graduate; Anna Reinhardt of Hartford, CT, BJU master’s graduate; Sophia (Francisco) Castellanos of Windsor, CT, WCSU graduate; Estella (Steve) Reinhardt-Stone of Waterbury, CT, Naugatuck Valley RN graduate; Martha (Matthew) Calciano of Windsor, CT, BJU graduate; 20 great-grandchildren: Rhianne (Tony Baer, fiancée) McLaughlin of Centerburg, OH; Aislinn (Noah Murphy) McLaughlin of Centerburg, OH; Brennen McLaughlin of Centerburg, OH; Carson McLaughlin of Centerburg, OH; Parker McLaughlin of Centerburg, OH; Kaitlyn McLaughlin of Centerburg, OH; Ethan Mitchell of Hillard, OH; Ian Mitchell of Hillard, OH; Isabella Jones of Hillard, OH; Katherine Jones of Hillard, OH; Benjamin Castellanos of Windsor, CT; Elizabeth Castellanos of Windsor, CT; Abigail Castellanos of Windsor, CT; Jeremiah Stone of Waterbury, CT; Steven Stone of Waterbury, CT;  Aidan Stone of Waterbury, CT; Dominic Stone of Waterbury, CT; Matthew Calciano of Windsor, CT; Colin Calciano of Windsor, CT; Haven Calciano of Windsor, CT; and 1 great-great grandchild:  Riley (McLaughlin) Kilgore of Centerburg, OH.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert Lee McLaughlin of Marengo, OH; her son, John McLaughlin of Marengo, OH; and her sisters and brothers: Naomi, Roberta, Marion, Nancy, Thomas, and William.

Friends may call 1:30-2:00 pm, Friday, March 2, 2018, at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR’s 3 at 61, Sunbury, Ohio.  Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 2, 2018, 2:00 pm, at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home with Dr. David Reinhardt officiating.  Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chesterville, Ohio.
