World War II Navy Veteran, Arthur D. Case, 94, passed away early Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Primrose Assisted Living Center in Marion, Ohio. Arthur was born July 5, 1917 in Columbus, to Owen and Verna (Steitz) Case. He is a graduate of Powell High School. He was a member of the William Street United Methodist Church, the American Legion Raymond B. Austin Post in Delaware, and a lifelong member of the Delaware County Farm Bureau. Arthur also had a great interest in his family’s genealogy. He is survived by his 2 sons, Robert (Beth) Case of Marion, and James (Dianne) Case of Delaware; 3 grandchildren, Jason (Erin) Case of Delaware, Owen (Kelsey) Case of Marion, and Evan Case of Delaware. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda; a brother, Owen; and 6 sisters, Dorothy, Francis, Mabel, Velma, Helen, and Leola. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11am with visitation one hour prior at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home in Delaware (1510 W. William St. Delaware, OH 43015).
