Anton “Tony” Reinhard

Anton “Tony” Reinhard, age 66, of Elizabeth Street, Fredericktown, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after an 18 year battle with cancer. He was born on October 19, 1945 in Munich-Lochhausen, Germany to the late Josef and Anna (Seidl) Reinhard. Tony retired in 2008 after 42 years of employment as a tool room supervisor for the Dana Corporation. He was a member of the Mount Vernon Colonial City Moose Lodge and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Tony’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Heffley) Reinhard; his daughter Jennifer Reinhard; his son Jeffrey (Tracy) Reinhard; three grandchildren, Jordyn Goddard, Jaide Reinhard, Katelyn Reinhard; two sisters Berta and Franziska and his brother-in-law John Heffley.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Charles Heffley and his wife Anna; and siblings Karl, Georg, Josef, Wilham, Johan, Anna, Getraud and Heidwig.

Friends may call on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 6-8PM at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, beginning at 10AM with Rev. Father Mark J. Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
