Anthony “Tony” Phillips, 59, of Galion passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
He was born July 7, 1959 in Newark, Ohio and was the son of Donald David and Joan Carolyn (Kinser) Phillips.
Tony worked as an electrician in construction and enjoyed world history.
He is survived by daughter Sarah Christine (Jason) Moore of Jackson; sons Michael Leigh Phillips of Logan, Tyler Phillips and Travis Phillips both of Louisa, Kentucky; two grandsons Trevyr Scott Phillips and Tives David Phillips; sisters Mary Ann Phillips Zeigler of Galion and Ellen Marie Phillips (Jeff) Bieber of Thornville; two nieces, Jennifer St. Claire and Rebecca Goombi both of Oklahoma; three nephews Shawn Riggs and Bobby Phillips both of Pataskala and Andrew Grubaugh of Galion and the mothers of his children, Sandra Kay Hall of Logan and Pamela Hinton of Louisa, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, David, Robert and Scott Phillips.
There will be no formal service held and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Baltimore, Ohio.
