Annie K. Davis, 87, of Baker Street, Mount Gilead, Ohio died Tuesday, July 06, 2004 in Morrow County Hospital.

She was born in Petersburg, West Virginia, on October 6, 1916, the daughter of the late Elmer H. and Lettie (Riggleman) Simon. She moved here in 1939 from Marion. Annie had worked as an assembler for North Electric in Galion and Subil Plastics in Mount Gilead until retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Harmony Chapel United Methodist Church and the UMW.

She is survived by two sons Ralph (Shirley) Davis of Fredericktown, Ohio, Victor (Vivian) Davis of Mount Gilead, Ohio; a daughter Betty (Eugene) Foster of Barefoot Bay, Florida; ten grandchildren Vickie, Steve, Lesa, Ed, Gloria, John, Jeff, Teresa, Jim and Jon; twenty-two great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Her husband Floyd Davis, whom she married on Nov. 1, 1930, preceded her in death on Apr. 17, 1968. Two brothers Glen and Evers Simon and a sister Mabel Davis also preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Craven Funeral Home in Mount Gilead on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Rev. Jeannie Winters will conduct funeral services there Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville.
