Angela Renee Weirick
August 09, 1979 ‒ February 28, 2014
LEXINGTON: Angie Weirick had an electric and crazy personality. She was outgoing and loved to instigate pranks or jokes on her family and friends in order to get a laugh from them. One look into her big blues eyes was to find acceptance and love – that’s likely why she had such a large circle of friends – and she got along well with everyone.
Angie passed away Friday morning February 28, 2014 in the Emergency Room of MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was 34.
Born Angela Renée Finley August 9, 1979 in Mansfield, she was graduated from Loudonville High School in 1996, and remained a lifelong area resident.
For several years she worked at Decker’s Depot in Lexington, as server, cashier, and anything else that needed done.
Her family will remember her beautiful laugh – a giggle, really – they include her husband Timothy Weirick, whom she married April 11, 2011; her children Mercedes Ayers, Christopher Hoffman and Brock Naus, her mother Laurie (Les) Kanis of Mansfield; her father Donald Finley of Mansfield; brother Aaron Finley, half sisters Jeanette Finley and Donielle Finley all of Mansfield; maternal grandmother Maryanna Atkins of Mansfield; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Charles Atkins, Edwin Finley and Jeanette Barber.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Duke Wallace will officiate. Contributions in her memory may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
