  • One of my favorite memories of Andy is racing him on Gay St.after school in my ’64 red volkwagon “Bessie” and he in his MG. Whoever reached my street 1st by Gordie’s house was the winner. We did this at least once a week our last two yrs in high school. It’s amazing we never got a ticket from the MVPD. RIP Andy.

  • I had so much fun knowing Andy. He was a witty, sarcastic and humorous friend- all my favorite qualities. I am so sad to hear of his passing. My sympathy goes out to his family.

  • Anne,
I am so very sorry, you have my deepest sympathy.
Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers

  • I am so sorry to find this out at such a late time .Drew and my husband were roommates in college, and I met Drew shortly after, and quickly became friends, that was in the 80’s.I will so miss him.my thoughts are with his family.

  • Here is to Drew, what an amazing & talented life! We all think of his family, his daughter, Violet, especially. Violet, Andrew is so proud of you! Be strong and know how much you are loved. To Anne, Drew’s sister, you are the Moon and beyond. Much love and many blessings to all of Drew’s family. My favorite story about Drew is he actually threw a hammer across the room at a contractor that ticked him off. I happened to be three feet away fro said hammer…hence the name Flying Hammer.
    One Love.

  • Drew was a good friend and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My memories of working alongside him for so many years and how we laughed and what we learned and built together will sustain me. I am indebted to him for his staunch friendship and the expertise he shared with me. My deepest sympathies to Violet and the family. I would be honored to travel to a service in his memory. I sincerely hope there will be an opportunity.

  • I am deeply saddened. Drew is a champion and multilayered dude. Please let me know if I can help the family.
