Allan F. Albert Sr, age 71, of Mount Vernon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on June 26, 1948 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late John and Naomi (Carr) Albert.

Allan was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School and worked for several Foundry Companies for over 40 years.  In his younger years Allan loved working on and driving race cars.  Allan was an avid buckeyes fan and loved watching the football games.  Most of all Allan loved being around his kids and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Albert; sons, Allan (Jennifer) Albert Jr., Christopher (Kristeena) Albert; 5 stepchildren; grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Jonathan, Autumn and numerous step-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Allan is preceded in death by his sister, Alma Albert.

  • Frank was a wonderful man of God. I am so happy to have known him and his sweet wife Linda. I will be praying for God’s comfort to surround all that loved him.

Whenever I see a picture or an article about turtles, I smile because of think of him and his playful spirit. Heaven gained an angel but we’ve lost a good man. Comfort and prayers to Linda and their families.
