Aldine Barre Beam

MANSFIELD: Aldine Barre Beam, 88, formerly of Mansfield and Johnsville, died Sunday morning June 22, 2003, in Fox Run Manor Care Center in Findlay.
She was born January 11, 1915 in Mount Gilead to Wesley Clay and Pearl Henry Barre, and was graduated from Johnsville High School in 1933.
On June 3, 1933 she married Gerald Edward Beam, Sr., who preceded her in death on March 17, 1995.
Aldine retired as manager of Roe’s House of Fashion in Bellefontaine, where she had worked nearly ten years.
She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Findlay, Philomath Club of McComb and Bellville Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Dixie L. and Ron Lindesmith of Canton and Geraldine and Roger Adams of Deshler; two sons and daughters-in-law Bob and Kayleen Beam of Zanesville and G. Edward, Jr. and Janet Beam of Toledo; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law Willis and Shirley Barre of Marietta, Georgia; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers Henry Clay Barre and Wesley R. Barre.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 27, 2003 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 am. Pastor Jim Jensen will officiate. Burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to Johnsville Grace United Methodist Church or Bridge Hospice of Findlay may be made at the funeral home.
