Agnes Pearl Anderson, age 76 of Columbus and formerly of Sunbury, passed away Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at Friendship Village of Columbus.

She was born on November 22, 1942 in Morgantown, WV to the late George D. and Nellie F. (McNeemer) Woody.  Agnes graduated from Fairmont High School in 1960. She met the love of her life, Larry D. Anderson in Columbus in 1964, and they were married June 13, 1965 in Columbus. Together they shared 47 wonderful years raising their family and making a home. In addition to being a homemaker, Agnes served as a lab technician for Ohio Ag for several years.

Agnes is survived by daughters Lori (Jeff) Faryman of Worthington, Kelly (Jamie) Wampler of Sunbury; nephew Trent Anderson of Westerville; grandchildren  Donovan (Mariah) Anderson, Garrett (Kendra) Dunahugh, Erik Wampler, Kelly (Nick) Fennig, Erin Wampler, Josh Anderson, Dylan Anderson, and great-grandchildren Annabelle Dunahugh, Lincoln Anderson, and Penelope Fennig, as well as brothers Lonnie Woody, Morgantown, WV, Dent Swisher, Fairmont, WV, and Gary (Sandy) Swisher, Delaware state. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 47 years, Larry D. Anderson, and by brothers John, George, and Raymond Woody, and sisters Ann Rollins, Mabel Mayles, Mildred Fletcher, Mary Kim, and sister-in-law Dottie Swisher.

Friends may call Thursday, January 17th from 6-8 p.m., at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. St. 61, Sunbury, where service will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Bratten officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunbury Memorial Park.
