Agnes M. Ganea

MANSFIELD: Agnes M. Ganea, age 90, of Mansfield passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a short illness.
She was born September 29, 1922 in Crestline, the only daughter of Joseph and Alvina (Friedrich) Rancinger.
In November 1939 she married Steve G. Ganea who preceded her in death in 1973.
For 20 years, Agnes worked as an inspector in the Plating Department at Dominion Electric.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Agnes enjoyed her work around the house, keeping the yard and flower gardens. She also liked crocheting and knitting.
A lifelong area resident, Agnes was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Nancy and John Voelp of Mansfield, two grandchildren Stephanie Chaffin of Mansfield, and Fred Voelp and his wife Mandy of Lewis Center; four great grandchildren Andrew and Alexandra Chaffin and Kennedy and Avery Voelp; and a special niece Judy Davis and her husband Richard, and extended family members and a host of friends.
In addition to her husband, Agnes was preceded in death by her son James S. Ganea in 1999, and two brothers Carl and Joseph Rancinger.
A private graveside service will be held in Mansfield Cemetery.
