Adam G. Neidhart

Adam G. Neidhart, age 17, of Marion, died unexpectedly on Friday afternoon in Delaware County of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in Marion, Ohio, on August 1, 1988, the son of John Edward and Jill (Lehner) Neidhart, who survive at home.

A member of the Pleasant High School Class of 2006, Adam was due to graduate with his fellow classmates on Sunday, June 4, 2006.

With a knack for rhythm, Adam was a member of the Drumline of the Pleasant High School Marching Band, Pep Band, and the Chorus. In addition to the drumlines, Adam was a member of the “Naked Bandos,” and was formerly a “Bandaid” when he was younger; where he proudly rooted for his Pleasant Spartans

His family’s right hand man, Adam was very active with the Marion County Fair and assisting his family with their farm Operation. He was also a member of the Marion County All-Stars 4-H Club, and the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Very involved in musicals, Adam often worked backstage helping with various props, and will be remembered as the “Jubiliation T Cornpone.”

An aspiring mechanic, Adam was very passionate about farming, fixing farm equipment, and cars.

Adam will forever be dearly missed by family and friends for his humor and orneriness.

In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his brother John Edward Neidhart II of Columbus, and sister Heather Sue Neidhart of Waldo; maternal grandparents Glenn and Sue Lehner of Marion; paternal grandmother Mary Ellen Dune of Marion; aunts and uncles David (Pam) Neidhart, Richard (Lisa) Dune, Carroll D. Neidardt, Jason G. (Candy) Lehner all of Marion, Terrie L. Shroyer of Ostrander, John (Lisa) Thome of Sugarland, Texas, and Don Shroyer of Cardington; numerous cousins; and countless friends.

Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Edward Faye Neidhart and step-grandfather Richard C. Dune.

The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Carousel Convention Center, 2209 Marion-Waldo Road, Marion, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Christine Widrig officiating. Burial will follow in Waldo Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home.
