  • Bud, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Such a beautiful young lady. My heart aches for you and your family. I pray that the Lord will hold you, comfort you, and give you strength for the days ahead.

  • I meant your lovely daughter a couple of years ago when I drove her to work.
I knew there was something special about her.
My heart goes out to all of you. This scripture came to my mind, and wanted to share it. I hope it brings you comfort. It’s in Hebrews 4; 14-16 ” Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

  • William Wilson,
I knew your daughter from Woodward. My two daughters knew her. I have a few videos of your daughter and mine on stage at a talent show. They told jokes together. I will put them on CD. They recently enjoyed Justin Bieber concert together.
I am completely saddened by the reality that your daughter has passed. I ache for you. May you hold fast to the Love of the Lord. May you take solace in the Aaliyah was loved and appreciated in our community. She will be missed.
May the perpetual light shine upon her and may she rest in peace. Amen

  • How deeply saddened I am for your family. I knew Aaliyah from Woodward and she was a shining star from day one. Words are hard to find at such a difficult time, but I hope in time you find peace knowing that in Her very short life on Earth she had an impact on people that some never have in a lifetime. The outpouring of love from so many is a testament to how much she was loved by every single person she came in contact with! You raised a beautiful young lady who touched lives everywhere she went! I feel blessed to be able to say I knew her and her beautiful spirit! Heartfelt Sympathy!
    God Bless !

  • Bud, my heart breaks for you and your family. I remember when Aaliyah was a baby and a toddler and Tara would bring her to our house. She was always such a sweet loving soul and a precious girl. I know Tyler loved her so much and he has lost a sweet sister too soon. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray God lifts you up in this terrible and devastating time. Know that she is now with Jesus and being fitted with her angel wings. God be with you and your family at this terrible time.

God bless you all in your time of need,
    Tammy (Tyler’s grandmother)

  • Our condolences to you and your family. Praying that God will comfort you in your time of loss.

  • I am so sorry to read about your loss, it is always difficult to lose a loved one, but it is especially tragic to lose them unexpectedly and at such a young age. Please take comfort in knowing that death is only a temporary part of life. (John 5:28,29) Although your time with Ling Ling was far too short, you can have the hope of being reunited with her forever, under perfect circumstances. (Revelation 21:4) In the meantime, even though the pain may at times seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure. (Psalm 94:17-19) Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences.

  • I had Aaliyah last year as a student in my math class. She always had a smile on her face and always gave her best. She was a great kid who added a bit of sunshine to my life every day. I am so sorry for your loss and I’m sending positive energy your way.
