Aaliyah Taylor “Ling Ling” Wilson, 17, of Delaware passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning September 15, 2016 at her residence.
She was born October 21, 1998 in Delaware to William B. Wilson and Tracy Cantrell.
Ling Ling was a senior at Delaware Hayes High School and looked forward to attending college in the fall. She worked at Burger King in Delaware and was described by many as “a real sweetheart” and that she always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. Ling Ling had a real passion for making cupcakes and she had aspirations of opening up her own business.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother Tracy Cantrell of Cardington; father William B. Wilson of Delaware; sisters, Kylie Williams of Cardington and Laylah Wilson of Delaware; brothers, Martin Prude of Delaware and Tyler Wilson of Columbus; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Freda Cantrell of Cardington; paternal grandmother, Patricia Wilson of Delaware; nephew, Martin Prude Jr.; numerous cousins, including Jaydah Phillips and Asia Cantrell of Delaware, who were also her best friends; aunts, Tonia and Lisa Wilson of Delaware; uncle, John Cantrell of Cardington; and a host of classmates and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 4 – 8 pm at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware and where funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Marlborough Cemetery and then a time of nourishment and additional fellowship will follow in the Snyder Rodman Community Room.
Contributions in Ling Ling’s memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
