J. Paul Moore Sr., age 65 of Sunbury died suddenly Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Grady Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 29, 1937 in Galena to the late John R. and Bertha Bevelheimer Moore. Graduate of Big Walnut High School Class of 1955.
He was a retired iron worker, 35 year member of Local #172 and a lifelong pork and grain farmer.
Member of York Masonic Lodge #563, Columbus, Big Walnut Golf League, Int. Assoc. of Turtles, numerous antique tractor clubs including; Ohio Two Cylinder, Land of Legend, and Morrow County Antique Tractor Club. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, debating, antique tractor collecting, especially his John Deere 420’s.
Survived by Children: Debra (Ray) Rammelsberg of Westerville, John (Connie) Moore of Centerburg, Steve (Janice) Moore of Marengo, Melody (Rod) Meade of Sunbury, 13 Grandchildren: Mark, Jamie Rammelsberg, Jessica, Katherine, Carolyn, Evan, Shane, Hailey, Hannah Moore, Amanda, Ashley, Kaitlin, Caleb Meade, Brothers: Jack (Mary) Moore of Croton, Bob Moore of Sunbury, Sisters: Martha (Dick) Fisher of Prospect, JoAnn (Ralph) Boggs of Galena, Marilyn (Ron) Tutorow of Sunbury, Shirley (Angelo) Tiberi of Columbus, Aunts: Ruth Straley of London, Lena Green of Galena, Mary (John) Ball of Galloway, Millie Moore of Delaware, nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of area friends including best friends: Bob Longshore, Dean Cockrell, Larry Lane, Tom Yoder.
Also preceded in death by infant son and brother Richard.
Friends may call Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Friday 1:30 p.m., Pastor Bob Riggs officiating. Interment Trenton Cemtery.
