Ralph E. Aichele, 74 of Marengo, died Sunday at Bennington Glen Care Center in Marengo.
He was born on July 28, 1935 in Saltillo, Ohio to the late Fred and Mary (Berry) Aichele. He had worked as a dishwasher for Isaly’s Restaurant.
Ralph was a fun loving, jolly, good natured person who loved to tease others and well loved by all. He loved fishing and was a mechanic at heart who could tear apart an engine and put it back together again.
Survived by sister: Rose (Lawrence) Penn of Marengo; brothers: Bill Aichele of Crooksville, Carl (Mary Lou) Aichele of Charleston, SC.
Preceded in death by brothers: Robert and Donald.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 73 W. Walnut Street, Marengo where services will follow Friday 10 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Hamilton officiating. Graveside interment at 1 p.m. in the Oakfield Cemetery, Oakfield, Perry County, Ohio.
