James Aldridge, age 81, of Gambier Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio and formerly of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Saturday April 19, 2008 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon. He was born on February 5, 1927 in Athens, Ohio to the late Hollis and Vergene (Warner) Aldridge. He was a member of University Lodge #631 F&AM, Moose Lodge #11 of Columbus and Lorraine Chapter #1 Eastern Star.
He is survived by a half brother Ben (Rosemary) Warner of Athens, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife Marge Aldridge.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2 PM at Sunset Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is in charge of arrangements.
