Jerry M. Adams, 71, of Mount Vernon passed away on Monday morning, October 1, 2007 in the emergency room at the Knox Community Hospital.
He was born on September 9, 1936 in Fredericktown, a son of the late Arthur and Mary (Edwards) Adams.
Jerry was a retired tire changer for Pond Tire in Mount Vernon.
Jerry is survived by a son, Steven Adams and a daughter, Cindy Boyd both of Texas; a grandson, Shane Adams of Texas; and sisters, Donna Estabrook and Linda Adams both of Mount Vernon.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A private inurnment will take place at a later date in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43201 in Jerry’s memory.
